# Client account setup

1send's permissions are built on Meta's permissions. This way a client only needs to update permissions in Meta's business tools and the permission changes will be reflected in 1send. Access is more secure.

Therefore, to manage a client's 1send account they must first grant the agency permissions on their Facebook Page. There are 2 different way a client can grant access:

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="People" %}
**The client adds the agency employee like they would their own teammate.**

1. Pro: Fast and works for small agencies with 1-3 people
2. Con: If person leaves or another agency employee take over the client account then the client needs to change access

{% endcontent-ref %}
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Partners" %}
**The client adds the agency's Meta business manager**

1. Pro: Agency more flexibly manage client access amongst employees
2. Con: Setup takes longer and is more extensive
