What is 1send?

1send is a messaging tool that helps you broadcast DMs to re-engage customers.

With 1send, you can track events and contact properties and then use that information to send messages to increase revenue, engagement or just generally improve your branding.

Let’s get started ✨

What we’ll be covering…

1. Connect your Facebook Page to 1send

The first step is to have a Facebook Page and connect it to 1send. This way you can send messages through 1send. You need to this before building a Facebook Messenger subscription list.

We send from you Facebook Page so your messages appear as if they are coming from you.

Once you've connected your Facebook Page, you'll be able to send messages!

2. Initiate Messenger subscriptions

After connecting your Facebook Page, you need to initiate your subscription list on Facebook. To do this you need to be the first subscriber of your Messenger list.

Send "1sendRegistration" to your Facebook Page in Messenger and a subscribe prompt should appear. After you click "Get updates" then setup is complete!

3. Collect subscribers

To send messages to Facebook users, they will first need to subscribe and opt-in to messages.

Messenger subscribers are not the same as page followers or likes and must be explicitly provide by the Facebook user.

Contacts

Contacts are unique Facebook users in your 1send audience. We use their Facebook account to identify and distinguish contacts.

Contact Properties

Contact properties are pieces of information associated with a contact. Facebook provides default properties like name, gender, time zone, and language.

You can use contact properties to segment your audience and send more targeted and relevant messages to specific contacts.

For example, you can send separate campaigns in different languages based on the users language preference.

4. Send your first Messenger campaign

Campaigns are a single broadcast sent to your audience (e.g. product launches, sales, teasers). They can be sent immediately to any subscribed contact or scheduled for a future time.

5. Integrate your Shopify store (optional)

1send built and launched an app on the Shopify App store. Connecting your 1send account to your Shopify store is optional and comes with the following benefits:

1

Revenue Attribution

1send can then identify the amount of incremental revenue each campaign generates in your Shopify store

2

Campaign Segmentation

Additional customer data like site engagement and purchase history can be used to better target your subscribers.
